My vision is to provide clients with a unique, pivotal relationship using meaningful and relevant financial advice, enabling you to enjoy more of what life has to offer.

With over 12 years of experience in the investment industry, I focus on managing client portfolios, identifying and assessing suitable investment solutions, as well as implementing these strategies within a comprehensive financial plan. As a Certified Financial Planner there is a delicate balancing act that must be struck between analytics (the numbers) and your personal financial goals. I use an in-depth financial planning process, financial plans and investment policy statements to allow our clients the ability to ensure they are on track for their future financial goals. I also serve as the key liaison (somewhat of an interpreter at times) between our clients and their key tax and legal professionals.

Outside of the office Christian enjoys time with his wife, Shawna and young daughter Halle. As a family they enjoy camping, hiking and walking the beach in their home town of White Rock, BC.

Specialized Advice
The Affluent Lawyer

As a lawyer, you are unique and therefore have financial planning needs that require specialists in the area of wealth accumulation, tax minimization and corporate planning.

The best lawyers have honed their skill to work on cases and files that relate to specific and unique circumstances, areas and clients. When you seek out professionals for advice on tax, healthcare, real estate and travel, you most likely want a specialized professional to provide you advice.

Why? Because we know that long-term detailed experience in specific scenarios provides you, the client, with the largest probability of success in your outcomes. However, in our experience, lawyers do not take this same approach to their personal wealth management planning. Due to the product and generalist approach of many financial advisors, areas tend to be overlooked and opportunities missed.

After having interviewed over 200 individual lawyers in the Vancouver area, we have uncovered the most overlooked financial strategies by legal professionals and their financial teams. Given our experience working with lawyers for over a decade, we have seen the good and the bad in terms of how individuals in the legal profession have taken steps to improve net worth and reduce tax.
